After School Clubs

After school dance clubs are a great place for children to enjoy dance. Children benefit from the exercise, but dance also helps build self confidence as well as improve skills of coordination.

Children interested in this club get opportunities to learn dance routines to music from the latest chart or films e.g. High School Musical. They will also learn some American Line Dancing as well as some cheerleading routines.

At the end of each term there is always an opportunity for the children to perform their work and receive recognition for their achievements.

The only equipment  the children need are plimsoles and their regular school P.E. Kit.

In the after school dance club there is no emphasis on Ballet, Modern, Tap or Acro. Children interested in these disciplines are welcome to enrol in the Saturday LMSD classes at Castle Manor.
