We are really fortunate to have a team of parent helpers, Sarah Preston, Sally Chapple
and Michelle Chambers who either offer additional support in class or by helping
meet some of our youngest children’s needs. We recognise and value the role of Parent
Helpers as an essential part of the LMSD team.
All our Parent Helpers are CRB checked.
Once she reached the appropriate age she started to assist her teacher with teaching at her school, preparing the children for exams, shows and pantomimes, taking them for auditions and dance seminars etc. In 1999 she passed her teaching exams.
Lisa’s dance expertise is in Ballet, Tap, Modern/Jazz, Acrobatics/Gymnastics, and Country and Western Line Dancing. In 2001 she took her Masters in Country and Western Line Dancing.
Soon after meeting Joe, her husband, in London in 1997 they started their own Line Dancing Club which is still running today. In April 2008 Lisa opened a new Line Dancing Club in Haverhill..
Her line dancers have also taken their line dance exams, the first group having completed now the first five on the examinations ladder, Pre-Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Blue Riband.
Lisa also works in local schools delivering dance workshops or teaching dance in after school clubs. Lisa is CRB checked & First Aid certificated.
