Ballet Examination
We will be taking the Grade exams. The children will be expected to know their rhythms. They will have to show work at the Barre, Centre work (i.e. away from the barre), Steps, a 32 bar Dance, and Mime. Included is theory which will be covered in class.
Modern Examination
We will be taking the Medal Tests. The Grade work is available but it is similar to the Ballet Syllabus. This is why I have linked Ballet and Modern together in one class.
For the Medal test they have to show just one dance set by the association for First Steps, and two dances from Pre-Bronze upwards, a set dance and a teachers own dance.
